About

UCLA KUBS Online Startup Competition is a global virtual entrepreneurship competition hosted by the Korean Undergraduate Business Society (KUBS) at UCLA. The competition brings together ambitious student founders, innovators, and aspiring entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds to showcase their startup ideas and compete on an international stage.

Participants will pitch innovative business concepts addressing real-world problems across industries such as technology, social impact, healthcare, sustainability, and finance. Teams will be evaluated based on innovation, market potential, scalability, feasibility, and clarity of execution.

As a fully online competition, the program provides accessibility to students worldwide, offering opportunities to connect with judges, mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs. Finalists will present their ideas in a live virtual pitch session, gaining valuable feedback from experienced professionals and industry leaders.

How It Works

Competition Format

Live Presentation

Participants present their work live to a panel of judges. Expect a prepared presentation followed by a Q&A session — both the content and delivery are taken into account during evaluation.
